Great value. My parents visited Alaska, and we did the road lottery together. Stayed at the Backwoods Lodge the night before. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Highly recommended! Look for discounts during shoulder season. We recently had the pleasure to stay at the backwoods lodge for the front end of a business trip. Given my upbringing in the hospitality industry I was thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness, accommodation, professionalism of the staff and owners as well as the undeniable at home feel we received during our stay. Great location to Denali Park with the perfect mix of wild Alaska and down home comfort. Highly recommendable. Kait and Tyler Baltimore, MD (The lower 48) Fantastic! Very clean and very quiet. Excellent beds and linens. Avoid the crowds of Denali. Saw several moose on the way up and back to Denali. A wonderful little cozy lodge. Would highly recommend for anyone and everyone. Carol just made things 10x easier too. Very easy to talk to and understanding. The place was nice and clean. We don't have a single complaint.
